Lorraine Ruiz Bula offers over 13 years of specialty pharmacy finance operations and project management experience supporting pharma & biotech.  Ms. Ruiz’s experience has spanned to leading Specialty Pharmacies including Express Scripts, Inc., and Prime Therapeutics, LLC.

While at Prime Therapeutics, Ms. Ruiz served as finance accounts receivable analyst and project manager for the specialty pharmacy book of business.  In this role, Ms. Ruiz developed and implemented pharma contract billing and financial assistance teams within the finance group supporting the Prime Therapeutics’ Specialty Pharmacy integration.  Ms. Ruiz supported Senior Executives by providing strategic plans and financial assistance program overview to HCSC Senior Leadership during Specialty Pharmacy integration.

Prior to that position, Ms. Ruiz served at Express Scripts as the pharma contract reimbursement, subject matter expert.  In this role, Ms.Ruiz worked with multiple manufacturers, developing financial projections of monthly revenue associated with manufacturer contracts with fee for service (FFS) contracts.  She liaised between various departments related to pharmaceutical groups providing revenue strategies and conducting onsite training of new processes and new hire onboarding for the pharma finance team.

Currently, Ms. Ruiz supports D2 in the launching of various pharmaceutical projects by providing project implementation efforts and ongoing management of program deliverables.  Additionally, Ms. Ruiz offers project management solutions providing supporting materials, analyzing data statistics, client reporting and client records management and ongoing retention.

Ms. Ruiz is a Radiologic Technology/Science – Radiographer and attended Winter Park Technical College and attained registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
